Desert Sanctuary
The Residence is designed to provide a comfortable living space for a Navajo American Poet in southern Utah. The building's mirrored facade reflects the surrounding landscape, creating an illusion of blending into its environment. Additionally, the roof subtly twists along the building's long axis, mirroring the rolling landscape of the Southwestern desert. By taking into account the local climate and terrain, the Residence offers a functional and aesthetically pleasing home for its intended purpose.
