Working within a tightly bounded envelope, the design achieves spatial generosity through precisely placed glazing, deep overhangs, and material choices drawn from Idaho's agrarian building tradition — timber, stone, and steel reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. The creek becomes an asset, not a liability.

A five-residence micro community in Boise, sited along an irrigation canal. Each home is designed to engage the waterway directly — orientation, glazing, and solar integration tuned to the specific conditions of each lot. The project sets a standard for what thoughtful infill development can be: individual residences that read as a cohesive community without sacrificing the particularity of place.
